What I found was they all had a very formalised approach-the first thing through the door tends to be the ticket office, and you quickly feel like you don't belong in the space if you are not there to see a film.

This is of course logical when creating a traditional cinema, but my thoughts were on how this could be modified to create a more informal and community based space, centred around film.
